Kothimbir Vadi

This is a Maharastrian delicacy prepared using coriander leaves and gram flour.

 Time Required: 1 Hour

2 Cups Coriander Leaves
1½ cups Besan/Gram Flour
½ cup Rice Flour
½ cup Chiroti Rawa/ Semolina Fine
¼ tsp Cooking Soda
3 – 4 Chopped Green Chillies
2 – 4 tbsp Roasted Groundnuts, peeled and crushed
¼ tsp Hing/Asafoetida
2 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chilli Powder
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

Mix all the ingredients except oil together with water to idli batter consistency. Grease trays and pour the mixture into them. Steam for 10 minutes. Remove from trays and cut into desired shape. Deep fry the pieces and serve with chutney or sauce
