Tulsi and Vaastu

Tulsi (Holy Basil) is considered an auspicious plant in Hindu households. It is a natural healer. Tulsi originated more than 5000 years ago and is referred in Bhagvad Gita as the number one herb in the plant kingdom. For centuries Tulsi is known for its healing powers but today we will learn about its divine powers with regards to Vaastu Shastra. Vastu Shastra is an ancient science of Indian architecture for homes and buildings. A house built according to the basis of Vastu Shastra brings good health, wealth and happiness. If in some case a part of the home is not built according to the Vastu Shatra principle, Tulsi plays an eminent role by minimising the architectural defects (vaastu dosh). It works as an air ionizer. The presence of Tulsi purifies air in the affected area and fills it with positive Vaastu energy. Tulsi proves to be a blessing where it is impossible to make any structural changes to conform to Vaastu Shastra.
