Strawberry Jam

This delicious Strawberry Jam is super easy and full of flavour.
Ingredients
250gm Strawberries
150gm Raw Sugar
2 tbsp lime juice
Pinch of salt

Method
Place a small saucer in the freezer. We will use this to test the consistency of the jam at the end.
Take a heavy based deep saucepan and add the finely chopped strawberries.
Add the sugar and let it sit for an hour so that the juices come out.
Then add the lime juice and salt.
Put the pan on medium heat till the sugar dissolves and then turn it up to high heat.
Keep stirring as it boils and starts to bubble.
After about 8-10 minutes, the bubbles will start to slow down meaning its closer to getting done.
Setting point test Place a small dollop of jam on the chilled saucer and drag your finger or spoon through. It should leave a clear path that doesn’t fill in.
Once the setting point is reached, remove from heat.
Pour into sterilised jars.
Refrigerate after opening.
