The other day when I was traveling to city on a train, I overheard girls talking about dry shampoo. For a moment I thought did I hear right? Well…
Dry shampoo is a solution to freshen and restyle your hair when you don’t have time for a traditional scrub. It’s a quick and easy way to revitalise and adds volume to your hair. The basic idea behind dry shampoo is to absorb excess oil or sweat and leave your hair fresh and clean.
Dry shampoo comes in powdered or sprays (aerosol) form. Just apply the powdered or spray (from a few inches away) onto your scalps and wait for a moment, massage with fingers and brush it off to remove any residue.
As the name suggests it removes the oil from your hair and the scalps. So people with dry hair should be more cautious as it may cause flaking and dandruff.
Remember dry shampoo should be only used to lengthen time between regular washings. Just save it for days when you are racing against time.
